Biography

Dr. Marques is an instructor in language, linguistics, and composition. Her area of expertise is phonetics and phonology, with an experimental approach to issues of speech production and perception. While she works with first language issues, she also has an interest in second language phonology. Currently, she is interested in issues related to the transfer of L1 to L2 in second language phonology, and L2 composition issues.
