CSU and Fort Collins will celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Monday, Jan. 16, with a community march as well as a keynote by poet and political activist JC Futrell — known by the stage name as Panama Soweto.

The 31-member Search Advisory Committee was made up of people who represented a variety of campus and community stakeholder groups including tenured and non-tenure-track faculty, staff, undergraduate and graduate students, alumni, the agricultural community, community and business leaders, as well as members of the CSU System Board of Governors.
Amy Parsons – CEO of a global e-commerce company based in Denver, longtime Colorado State University leader, and former executive vice chancellor for the CSU System – has been named as the finalist in the search for the 16th president of Colorado State University in Fort Collins.
“The announcement of this plan marks a significate step forward amid several years of calling attention to the issue of graduate assistant compensation.”
CSU graduate students presented their research, entrepreneurship and creative arts while competing for over $20,000 in scholarships during the 2022 GradShow on Nov. 16.
The words used to describe those who received last year’s Colorado State University Best Teacher Awards showed why they were selected. Nominations are being accepted for the 2023 winners.
Colorado State University achieved another record-breaking year in sponsored projects expenditures, topping last year’s record by nearly $10 million as it invested in research areas such as climate solutions, public health and agriculture.
It came down to the wire, but CSU’s annual drive to collect nonperishable food and raise money for the Food Bank for Larimer County reached its $60,000 fundraising goal.
