Kelsi Nagy received her doctorate from the University of Oxford in the School of Geography and the Environment and also holds and M.A. in Philosophy from Colorado State University and a M.S. in Anthrozoology from Canisius College in Buffalo New York. Her research examines human-animal relationships in a variety of cultural contexts. Her PhD research looks at urban dairy farming in Mysore, Karnataka, the lives and welfare of these cattle, and their consumption of plastic pollution. She is happy to be back in Colorado teaching for a department that inspired her interest in environmental and animal ethics in the beginning.
