Graduate Teaching Assistant

Hello, my name is Elene. I am from the Republic of Georgia. I came to Colorado a few years ago to earn an M.A degree in Economics from the University of Denver. Before joining the Ph.D. program at CSU, I worked at Arrow Electronics, helping IBM Software sales team and working on performance indicators. I also worked at the Colorado Department of Transportation, evaluating process efficiency by conducting data analysis.

Currently, I am a second-year Ph.D. student. My fields of interest are Public and Development Economics. In terms of research, I am working on measuring equity in financing education for different school levels. I am also interested in analyzing poor relief and charity behaviors in the context of public goods games.

This semester I am a teaching assistant for principles of microeconomics class. I enjoy teaching and look forward to meeting my new students.
