April 9 through 12 the ACT Human Rights Film Festival will showcase new films from around the world that educate and inspire, along with opportunities to connect with award-winning filmmakers and film participants.

This spring Colorado State University’s ACT Human Rights Film Festival will celebrate its tenth festival edition April 2-6, 2025.
Conversations with filmmakers and activists, catered receptions and screenings of 22 films will all take place over five days. Festivalgoers will have unique opportunities to make a difference and engage with the human rights issues explored in this year’s films.
From April 3 through 7, ACT will present 22 esteemed documentaries on campus and at The Lyric. Award-winning filmmakers and film participants will join to share their insights and connect with audiences.
The center, part of the revitalization of the Clark Building, will focus on the excellence within CSU’s educational mission.

Transitioning from a high schooler to a professional wasn’t easy for Jennifer, but she credits CSU for providing an environment that supports students through this challenging time. “What made CSU stand out to me was the abundance of resources that CSU programs provided. I also had fantastic professors who not only cared about my academics but my personal well-being,” she says.
