History

Paul Albert Hudson was born on July 10, 1979 in Denver, Colorado. Paul's propensity for creativity became evident early in his life and was made evident by both his creativity as he played and his creativity in his mischievous endeavors. The mischievous endeavors part was a part of him he carried throughout his life. Paul was accepted at Colorado State University for admission in the fall of 1998. He started his studies at CSU as an open major and became an Art major as he started his junior year. This scholarship was established to memorialize Paul for that portion of his life, which he loved, his art. He also was passionate about his family, his friends, his martial arts, and his snowboarding. Paul died on March 24, 2002 from injuries sustained while snowboarding at Keystone Mountain, Colorado. Through the Paul A. Hudson Art Scholarship, his family and friends and all who knew him wish to create a living memory of Paul by supporting CSU students studying art.
