Scholarship This scholarship is a tribute to Paul and Murdene Lilyblade's lifetime support of education, and honors the life of Paul Lilyblade.

Criteria

1) Junior, senior, or graduate Liberal Arts student 2) Major in art education; art history; and/or the visual arts which may include by example and not limitation painting, sculpture, drawing, printmaking, ceramics, jewelry and metals, and graphic design 3) Demonstrate financial need as established by the Office of Student Financial Services of Colorado State University

History

Paul and Murdene Lilyblade were married in 1948. Throughout their lives they have been dedicated supporters of Colorado State University both in academics and as staunch and stalwart supporters of all athletic programs. The central theme of many family gatherings and discussions is CSU, both in terms of athletic success and prominent academic program success. Paul and Murdene shared a deep and enduring appreciation for higher education as evidence by the long list of their children and grandchildren in attendance at CSU. All three of Paul and Murdene's children - Christy, Barbara, and David- graduated from Poudre High School and then continued their education at Colorado State University.
