This scholarship in Art Education bears the names of the Donors’ families and was established with the intent of honoring their contributions and unwavering commitment, demonstrated in both words and in deeds, towards teaching and their belief in the significance of education that these families valued so highly.  

Criteria

1) Be an undergraduate student applying in their junior year and pursuing a degree in Art Education 2) Demonstrate great talent, excellent skills, and a strong commitment towards teaching of the visual arts in a school environment by submitting a written application during the spring semester of their junior year and posting to their on-line portfolio the following 3 items for consideration: a) a short essay (approx. 1 typewritten page) describing why they wish to become a teacher including their philosophy on education b) a portfolio of their work as an art student at CSU c) one sample of their lesson plan 3) Maintain a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA
