The Blake Leadership Scholars program is looking for high-achieving students with academic excellence, demonstrated leadership and community engagement, exceptional character, and a commitment to a liberal arts education. To qualify for application, you must be a high school senior admitted to a degree program in the College of Liberal Arts and applying for admission to the CSU Honors Program. You must have achieved academic excellence as exhibited by your GPA (minimum 3.8), class rank, your high school or dual enrollment coursework, and/or standardized test score (if you took a standardized test). In addition, you must have experience, accomplishments, or extra curricular achievements that showcase your leadership, community and civic engagement, and your character. Criteria:
  • High school senior applying for admission to a degree program in the College of Liberal Arts
  • Applying for admission to the CSU Honors Program
  • 3.8 GPA (minimum)
Qualifications:
  • Academic achievement through your GPA (minimum 3.8), class rank, your high school or dual enrollment coursework, and standardized test score (if you took a standardized test)
  • Experience, accomplishments, extra curricular achievements, and talents demonstrating leadership and community or civic engagement
Once accepted into the Blake Leadership Scholars Program, awards are renewed each academic year for up to four years provided the student meets the following criteria:
  • Maintain an overall 3.5 GPA
  • Be a full-time student (24 credits per year) with a primary major in the College of Liberal Arts
  • Engage actively with the Blake Leadership Scholars Program

Criteria

1) High school senior applying for full-time undergraduate admissions to a degree-seeking program in the College of Liberal Arts at Colorado State University 2) Any major 3) Maintain an overall 3.8 GPA throughout high school 4) Demonstrate high level of academic performance and superior scholastic ability 5) Possess exceptional character and leadership potential 6) Illustrate a commitment to a liberal arts education (Once accepted as a Blake Leadership Scholar, awards are renewed each academic year year provided the student maintains a 3.5 GPA, be a full time student (24 credits per year) with a primary major in the College of Liberal Arts, maintain active engagement with the Blake Leadership Scholars program which can be defined as event participation, community outreach, and interaction with faculty mentor)
