Biography
Beth Seymour joined Colorado State University’s ACT Human Rights Film Festival as Managing Director in 2018, bringing extensive experience in nonprofit fundraising and event management. She previously served on the board of Rocky Mountain Women’s Film in Colorado Springs. Since 2020, she has been a board member of the Human Rights Film Network in Amsterdam, and in 2025 she joined the board of the Film Festival Alliance, based in Washington, D.C. Beth has also served as a festival juror for Movies That Matter in The Hague, the Nepal Human Rights International Film Festival in Kathmandu, and Karama Human Rights Film Festival in Amman, Jordan. In 2025, the City of Fort Collins honored her with its Human Relations Award. Beth has a B.A. in Spanish from Whitman College and an M.A. in Latin American Studies from Tulane University.
