Biography

I grew up in Illinois and North Carolina, attending Appalachian State University and graduating in Spring of 2025. While there, I studied lithic technology over time in the headwaters of the New River and participated in excavations throughout the Southeast. At CSU, I work in the Center for Research in Archaeogeophysics and Geoarchaeology (CRAG). My interests are in geoarchaeology, paleoenvironmental studies, and how past climate change and human response can inform climate mitigation and adaptation efforts today.
