Biography

I am a first year PhD student and Graduate Teaching Assistant in the Department of Economics at Colorado State University. My current research interests include applying spatial statistical analysis and machine learning techniques to examine policy effects on environmental and climate economics. I also am interested in local/regional economic development and policy impacts.

Additionally, I teach courses for the Data Science Undergraduate Certificate for the CU Succeed program at the University of Colorado Denver. Over the course of the certificate students learn introductory statistics, the fundamentals of object-oriented programming, data visualization, and machine learning techniques in both R and Python.

I also serve as Data Scientist for the Multicultural Leadership Denver, LLC in Denver, Colorado.
