About

Biography

I am currently pursuing a PhD in Economics and working as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Colorado State University. I hold a Master's degree in Economics from Carleton University, with a concentration in Financial Economics. My research interests are in Development Economics, Labor Economics and Behavioral Economics. Coming from a developing nation like Bangladesh, I feel particularly drawn to Development Economics as it provides practical tools to address pressing global challenges such as poverty and inequality.

Before starting my doctoral journey, I worked in a variety of professional roles, including teaching, client operations management and administrative positions. I hope to apply the skills I gained from these experiences in my research and teaching assistantship here.

Outside of academics, I enjoy reading, photography, yoga, and taking long walks in the woods.
