Art for Breakfast: a day-long celebration of art-making, community, and generosity

This special event will feature a series of portraits of Silver Grill team members created by David Pyle, artist, writer, and faculty member in Arts Management at Colorado State University. The exhibition honors the people who make the café a cornerstone of the community. The day will include ‘roving bands of sketchers’ comprised of students who will be doing drawings of diners and the community.

A portion of the proceeds from today’s sales will be generously donated by the Silver Grill to CSU’s BRAINY program.

BRAINY is a program of the Gregory Allicar Museum of Art with assistance from the School of Music, Theatre, and Dance and the Department of Art and Art History.

Since its inception in fall 2009, more than 5,000 students from Fort Collins, Loveland, and Windsor Title 1 elementary schools have participated in this collaborative, educational program, taught by more than 400 CSU students.
