2023 CSU Brass Workshop

The CSU Brass Workshop is an exciting new opportunity for student brass players to gain valuable instruction and improve on their instrument in a low-pressure and supportive environment. This three-day workshop is designed to help students with all aspects of their brass playing through daily warm-up sessions, clinics, chamber ensembles, group lessons and more!
Yoga in the Gardens
A free, hour-long Vinyasa flow yoga class in the Annual Flower Trial Gardens, across the street from the Gregory Allicar Museum of Art. Led by Theresa McLaren, GAMA Visitor Services Manager and certified yoga instructor.
2023 Summer Conducting Seminar

The unique program is designed for music educators, enabling students to earn a master’s degree while continuing to work full-time. With the exception of a two-week summer seminar held on the CSU campus, all course work can be completed online or using your own school orchestra, choir, or band as your conducting laboratory.

CSU Clarinet Professor Dr. Wesley Ferreira is the artistic director of this event, which will attract thousands of clarinetists of all levels, abilities, and ages from around the world.

Among Bana-speaking communities in northern Cameroon, the visual arts are used in a variety of ways to communicate an individual's status, as well as to promote gender roles in society. This exhibition explores the visual complexity of beaded aprons known as Dibul Kouana or Pikuran, which are worn by women and are used to promote social status, personal identity, and social ties.

2023 Dance Lab Summer Intensive

CSU Dance Lab is a college preparatory summer program offering immersive study in classical and contemporary dance forms, repertory, theory, and composition. In addition to dance classes and rehearsals, students will attend lectures, develop artist statements, choreograph solos, and present a public performance. Mentored by CSU Dance faculty, renowned guest artists, and current dance majors, attendees expand skills and knowledge while contributing to a collaborative creative process. Beginner through pre-preprofessional level dancers ages 14+ are invited to register for our two-week in-person intensive. To ensure individualized attention, registration is limited to 24 dancers admitted on a first-come-first-served basis.
