Rocky Mountain Saxophone Summit
The event features clinics, performances, and masterclasses by professionals and professors from along the Front Range, with guests New Third Stream Quartet featuring Rick VanMatre and James Bunte from the Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, Jim Romain from Drake University, and Peter Sommer from Colorado State University. The all-ages event features masterclasses and a performance by students from CSU, UNC, CU, DU, MSU, and UW, as well as clinics with audience participation. Bring your instrument for the opportunity to play along! Daytime events are free and open to the public, and Tim Glessman from Sax Alley will have horns to try.
