Bio

Over the past four decades, Paula Edwards has dedicated her time, energy, and leadership to the development of communities through philanthropic initiatives, healthcare, social support programs, the arts, and education. A native of Colorado, Ms. Edwards has resided in Fort Collins for 47 years. She has actively participated in numerous organizations, including the NoCo Foundation, Colorado State University, The Women’s Foundation of Colorado, United Way of Larimer County, Fort Collins Museum of Art, Fort Collins Museum of Discovery, National Charity League, Poudre Valley Hospital and Foundation, and Fort Collins Children’s Theatre. 

Ms. Edwards’s contributions have been recognized with several honors, including the Colorado State University Charles A. Lory Public Service Award, the Northern Colorado Business Report Woman of Distinction, and the United Way of Larimer County Women Give Philanthropist of the Year. In 2014, she was awarded an Honorary Doctor of Humane Letters Degree from Colorado State University. In 2023, Ms. Edwards was recognized as Colorado’s Outstanding Volunteer by the Colorado Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals. 

Ms. Edwards is married to Dave, is the mother of Christopher Wynne and Amy Sweet, and the grandmother of Mackenzie, Walker, and Althea. In her leisure time, she enjoys reading, skiing, biking, and traveling.
