The College of Liberal Arts Democracy Summit brings students, scholars, and community partners together to ask big questions, exchange ideas, and explore how we can strengthen democracy through dialogue, learning, research, and civic engagement.

Following the Spring 2026 Summit in March, the College is moving the Summit to the fall as part of a new annual rhythm. The inaugural fall Summit, taking place October 26–27, 2026, will create space to continue the conversation, tackle the challenges facing democracy, and explore what’s possible when we engage with them together—from Colorado and beyond.
