Erin Jordan, an instructor in the Department of History, and Alan Van Orden, a professor in the Department of Chemistry, have been selected to receive funding this summer as part of a pilot program on open educational resources.
Six esteemed faculty members are joining Colorado State University’s elite scholars this month by becoming University Distinguished Professors – an honor based on the highest level of achievement in teaching, research and service, an achievement that has been recognized nationally and internationally.
“Dr. Stanley will lead academic programming at the CSU Spur campus, including efforts to develop, grow, and launch Spur Start.”
The Oct. 29 Provost’s Ethics Colloquium on Mental Health in Higher Education featured keynote speaker Katie Rose Guest Pryal, a nationally renowned expert in mental health and neurodiversity, as well as a panel discussion with CSU faculty and staff.
Colorado State University will be celebrating the accomplishments of more than 5,600 graduates who have completed their coursework, or will finish it this summer, during spring commencement May 10-12.
She is one of only 26 Fellows selected nationally, following her nomination by President Amy Parsons and a thorough application process.
The search committee will be chaired by Karen Estlund, dean of the CSU Libraries.
Dr. Braunstein recently completed a five-year tenure as Chair of the Economics Department and currently serves as Associate Dean of Research and Graduate Programs in the College of Liberal Arts.
