The Importance of Thanking Your Donor

The College is fortunate to have many private donors who contribute generously to scholarships for our outstanding students.

Scholarships are funded by real people often in memory or in honor of a loved one or favorite professor. Therefore, it is very important to thank those who made your scholarship possible. Beyond the simple courtesy of this act, thank you letters often inspire increased scholarship funds from donors, which further benefits students like you.

When you receive a scholarship from the College of Liberal Arts, you will have the option to submit an online recipient survey and photo of yourself to AcademicWorks.

Answers from your survey will be used to populate a thank you letter that the College will send to your donor(s). While this process is not required to receive your scholarship, we encourage you to express your gratitude to our donors, so they know how impactful their donations are for our students.
