Criteria

1) Undergraduate student enrolled in the College of Liberal Arts; or be pursuing academic interests related to Asian studies or international affairs 2) Have attained class level of sophomore or higher 3) Maintain an overall 3.6 GPA

History

Loren dedicated his heart and energy to Colorado State University for 34 years, and his tenure as provost was marked by many significant achievements. He led the implementation of the first-year seminars and new core curriculum, and he fostered major improvements to the University Honors Program, international programs and retention activities. Loren is widely respected on our campus for his compassion and his commitment to academic life. He has been a passionate advocate for liberal arts education, academic freedom and the role of the comprehensive research university in society.
