Criteria

1) Undergraduate or graduate student enrolled in the College of Liberal Arts 2) Demonstrate exceptional creative talent in the visual arts (May be renewable if the student continues to receive faculty recommendation(s) and continues to meet the criteria)

History

Recognizing the challenging and competitive path to becoming a successful, practicing artist, the Charlie and Gwen Hatchette Creativity Scholarship intends to foster high quality and diverse artistic endeavor by providing financial assistance to student/artists of promise to support an innovative, arts-based project or the development of an artistic portfolio. The purpose of the Fund is to provide one student enrolled in the College of Liberal Arts at Colorado State University, with annual financial assistance in the form of tuition relief as well as 'seed money' for a portfolio-building art project.
