1) Full-time undergraduate students who are junior or seniors and are enrolled in the College of Liberal Arts at CSU, majoring in a discipline within the Journalism and Technical Communication Department 2) Maintain an overall minimum 2.5 GPA 3) Complete a personal statement describing goals to pursue a career in advertising, marketing, public relations, communications or a related field 4) Demonstrate a history of creating social impact by volunteerism and community engagement 5) Preference shall be given to first generation students and/or students demonstrating financial need as established by the Office of Student Financial Services of CSU 6) Preference shall also be given to students with demonstrable work experience in media, which may include student media organizations such as the Collegian, College Avenue magazine, KCSU-FM, the Faculty Staff Life Newsletter or Campus Television (CTV) and/or those who have an interest in summer internships at an advertising agency
