History
This fund is made possible by an alumnus who double majored in Speech Communication and History at Colorado State University. While a student, he suffered financial difficulties that would have forced him to withdraw from the University without financial assistance from an unexpected source. The Donors are establishing this fund in order for future students in challenging financial situations to receive the assistance they need to graduate from Colorado State University. It is the desire of the donors that future recipients of the Bohling-Gill Scholarship consider donating to the fund after they are established in their careers.
The purpose of the fund is to provide scholarships to benefit students enrolled in the College of Liberal Arts who are poised to make significant contributions to society. Candidates for the scholarship should demonstrate creativity, leadership and determination during the course of their studies. The goal of the scholarship is to assist in launching a student into a career in which his/her talents can effect change, efficiency, stewardship and improvement in the lives of others.
