This scholarship was established in 2008 to encourage the study of history west of the 100th meridian, to preserve our heritage and traditions and to communicate the frontier experience to the general public.
Criteria
1) Undergraduate or graduate history student with preference given to students with demonstrated interests in the fields of Western American History, Historic Preservation or Environmental History 2) Demonstrate financial need as established by the Office of Student Financial Services of CSU 3) Maintain a cumulative 3.0 GPA in all history classes
History
The scholarship is given in memory of Anne R. Rosser and Mary Patricia Holvey who were each, in their own way, pioneer women. This gift demonstrates the generous support of our alumni and their recognition of the role scholarships perform in encouraging scholarship in the college.
