Hi there! I'm a second year PhD student-worker and my research interests relate to labor market policy, the political economy of urban development, and public finance. Following my MA from the New School for Social Research in 2015, I served as an economist for the New York City Council, primarily supporting City budget negotiations. I also staffed the Civil Service and Labor Committee, where I assisted in developing and debating legislation regarding workplace regulations in New York City. Prior to my move to Fort Collins, I served on the Core Committee of the Association of Legislative Employees, helping to develop the infrastructure for an active and democratic membership in what is now the largest union representing legislative employees in the country. I am currently a Graduate Teaching Assistant for Principles of Macro, and a Research Assistant at the Regional Economic Development Institute (REDI), under the guidance of Prof. Weiler.
