Kristen earned her B.A. in Education from Ohio University and her M.A. in Literature from Colorado State University. Her professional path spans teaching literature in Colombia and China, as well as serving as a nonprofit college and career advisor for rural Colorado schools. Across these roles, she has developed a strong foundation in project management, creative storytelling, and community-centered networking, all skills she now brings to her work as the College of Liberal Arts Recruitment and Enrollment Manager.
Outside of work, Kristen is an avid reader with a particular love for translated authors in horror and speculative fiction. She also enjoys writing poetry and spending time with her husband and her cat, Lucifer, whose name and attitude are lifted from Cinderella.
