Kat Haddad is a second-year graduate student whose research focuses on queer history, women's history, and twentieth-century American history. She’s previously worked with Colorado Parks and Wildlife through the Public and Environmental History Center updating the historical interpretation for Barr Lake State Park. She's also updated oral history protocols and documentation for Death Valley National Park. Her thesis centers on Denver women teachers in academia during the early and mid-twentieth century and how queer theory can be applied to understand how they formed and sustained community.
