Biography

Angel is an MA student in Languages, Literatures, and Cultures at Colorado State University. He graduated with honors from Universidad Pedagógica Nacional Francisco Morazán with a BA in English Language Teaching.

He brings language teaching experience across diverse audiences, having taught English as a Second Language (ESL) at the primary, secondary, and corporate executive levels within the banking sector. As a bilingual professional, he has also worked as a medical interpreter (English–Spanish). At Colorado State University, he has taught a range of university-level Spanish courses, including: LSPA 100 (First-Year Spanish I), LSPA 201 (Second-Year Spanish II), LSPA 310 (Approaches to Spanish Literature), and LSPA 335 (Issues in Hispanic Culture).

His interests include Languages ​​for Specific Purposes, applied linguistics, and task-based language teaching. He's currently conducting research on Language Needs Analysis within the field of Spanish for Specific Purposes in the United States.
