Biography

Teaching

Cameron Burnap is a Ph.D. Student and Graduate Instructor in the Department of Communication Studies. He has been a teacher in the classroom since he was an undergraduate student and has experience teaching courses such as Communication Research, Communication Theory, and Public Speaking & Debate. Since being at CSU, Cameron has taught SPCM 200: Public Speaking and SPCM 100: Communication and Popular Culture.

Research

Cameron's research is primarily situated in queer public memory studies, embodied & visual rhetorics, and place/space studies. His current projects explore how memory is resisted and remains in rural Minnesota from the early to mid-20th century in queer archives and house museums.
