Biography

Crystal Mikes has worked in career development and higher education for about 13 years, with experience at Front Range Community College, CU Boulder, and Colorado State University. She earned her M.Ed. in Education and Human Resource Studies with an emphasis in Career Counseling from Colorado State University in 2014.

Before transitioning into higher education, Crystal worked as a journalist and editor for several years, including at The Coloradoan in Fort Collins. She earned her B.S. in Journalism from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Outside of work, Crystal enjoys spending time with her two sons, reading, writing, and creating.
