Kent Youngblood is a Producer and Director who has taught film and video production courses for the last 20 years at Colorado State University, University of Colorado at Denver, Community College of Aurora, Red Rocks Community College, Art Institute of Colorado and Rocky Mountain School of Art and Design.

Professionally, Kent has worked in the industry for over 30 years on almost every aspect of production you can imagine – feature films, television series (scripted and reality), commercials, documentaries, corporate videos and social content. His work has screened internationally and received critical acclaim, earning accolades that include two Emmy Awards, eleven Telly Awards, two Addys, and two ProMax/BDA Awards.

He is a frequent speaker on production strategy, creative leadership, and the use of artificial intelligence in media. Kent is passionate about mentoring the next generation of visual storytellers to create with purpose and impact.

He earned his Master of Arts in Film & Television at the University of Denver and received his Bachelors in Radio/TV/Film from Colorado State University.
