How CSU first-generation students build bridges in the most diverse community in Colorado, as told through the work of CSU alumni.

Join us for a presentation and film showcasing the life-changing work of CSU’s first generation students as they mentor immigrant and refugee high school students in Fort Morgan, the most diverse community in Colorado. This powerful and timely story of unity reflects the impact of Dr. Eric Ishiwata’s (’97) Near Peer Program, demonstrates CSU’s land-grant mission, and makes you proud to be a CSU Ram.

Several CLA alumni are involved in telling this compelling story:
Amy Hoeven (Interdisciplinary Liberal Arts, ’95)
Kyle Rasmussen (Journalism, ’13)
Brandon Wooldridge (Interdisciplinary Liberal Arts, ’15)
