The search committee will be chaired by Karen Estlund, dean of the CSU Libraries.
Dr. Braunstein recently completed a five-year tenure as Chair of the Economics Department and currently serves as Associate Dean of Research and Graduate Programs in the College of Liberal Arts.

In a message to the campus community today, Colorado State University President Amy Parsons announced Marion Underwood as the university’s next provost and executive vice president, beginning Jan. 1, 2024. The selection follows an extensive nationwide search, spanning six months.
The title of University Distinguished Professor is the highest academic recognition awarded by the University and is bestowed upon tenured, full professors on the basis of outstanding scholarship and achievement.
The finalists will visit campus in the coming weeks.
