Bio

Greg Mark grew up on CSU’s campus. His dad was an English professor and his mom a graduate of CSU. He spent the better part of his more than a quarter-century in the academy teaching at Rutgers. He left Rutgers to be the dean of DePaul’s law school, where he now teaches. He is a specialist in legal history, especially the legal history of the American economy and the business corporation. He teaches contracts, corporate law, corporate finance, and legal and constitutional history. Before becoming a professor, Mark was a prosecutor in the Office of Independent Counsel dealing with Iran/contra and began his legal career as a law clerk to The Hon. Bruce Selya of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit. His graduate training was in history at Harvard University and in law at the University of Chicago, where he was an editor of the Law Review.
