Nefratiri Weeks, Ph.D. candidate, will talk about applying for the National Science Foundation (NSF) grant, her process for creating the research design, the research design, and how research questions fit into the research frame with theory, methods, and analysis. Nefratiri will offer some advice for applying and creating a solid research design, and she will discuss how she was able to create a research design that bridged the macro/structural aspects of the case while still bringing in the micro/idealogical domain to answer her key research questions.
