Graduate Program

In the ever-changing world of new communication technologies, graduate students pursuing the M.S. or Ph.D. in Public Communication and Technology will be equipped to understand the impact new technology has on the communication industry and society as a whole.

Master’s students will be prepared for careers in communication management of health; environmental, scientific, or technical information; computer-mediated communication; public relations; and strategic communication. Ph.D. students will focus on the impact technology has on modern communication, as well as the role information plays in the public’s understanding of present-day issues in society. Graduates will be well-prepared to teach and research at a university level.
