SOC 311- Methods of Sociological Inquiry
This course is designed to introduce students to the process of sociological research. Students will understand design, measurement, and reporting of research. Students will also learn how to understand and evaluate scholarly research. We will cover topics such as research design, measurement, ethics, quantitative and qualitative research, and sampling. In addition to the required textbook, students will also read empirical research articles as examples of sociological research.
