Biography

Dr. Opp's research interests include sustainability, local economic development, urban policy, and public administration.  She is a "pracademic" that focuses her work on bridging the divide between the University and the public sector.  Over the course her career she has worked with numerous public sector partners including the City of Fort Collins, Larimer County, the Environmental Protection Agency, and the Department of Health and Human Services.  She enjoys working to improve the administration, the effectiveness, and the efficiency of public policy.  Her favorite part of her job is working with students to help them achieve their academic and professional goals.
