Biography
I grew up in a tiny town named The Colony, Texas which is a real place and not a post-apocalyptic settlement. I attended the University of North Texas (UNT) and earned degrees in communication studies and political science. During my time at UNT, I worked as resident assistant at the Texas Academy of Mathematics and Science (TAMS), a residential dual enrollment program for high school students. Through my studies at UNT and work at TAMS, I discovered a passion for learning how we construct our own identities and how power structures and communication shape that process. My passions have lead me to CSU where I am excited to learn about these subjects and a lot more! Go rams!
