Biography

Michael Elizabeth Sakas completed her undergraduate at CSU in the summer of 2013, earning a degree in English education and an endorsement in art. During this time, she worked at Rocky Mountain Student Media as the station manager of 90.5 KCSU from May 2011 to May 2012, and the EIC of the Collegians Summer Media Team. Her interest in digital communication grew from these experiences, leading her continue her education at CSU. This is her first year in the MS program, where she will be studying the effects of information on audiences who have a higher level of control over the types of media messages they consume. Upon graduation, she would like to work in creating and collecting online content for specified audiences.
