Leighanne Alford

Development Project Assistant

About

Biography

Leighanne has spent the last 14 years growing support for non-profits across central Arkansas. She's raised money to feed hungry families and children through the the Arkansas Foodbank, grew membership and annual giving programs for Garvan Woodland Gardens, Arkansas Repertory Theatre, and the Arkansas Arts Center, and worked to find a cure for cystic fibrosis with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation of Arkansas.

Leighanne is thrilled and grateful to call the CSU College of Liberal Arts, and Fort Collins, home. She looks forward to growing support for the incredible mission of the College and spreading the word about why a liberal arts education matters in our world today. Leighanne and her husband love to cook, travel, camp, hike, bike, and spend time on their front porch with their two awesome rescue pups – Roxy and Scholesy. As Arkansas residents for nearly 37 years, they are also loving the low humidity and milder temps of Fort Collins!
