Biography

After receiving a B.S. in Environmental Communication from Colorado State University in 2010, Heather has worked in the field of environmental communication and education, most recently with Larimer County Department of Natural Resources. She aims to connect community members to the outdoors through education and outreach. Given her passion for connecting people to nature, Heather hopes to integrate her professional interests into her research as a Master’s student in Public Communication and Technology. Her research interests focus on messaging around human-wildlife conflict. Outside of her professional and academic pursuits, Heather enjoys backpacking, trail running and yoga.
