Hello! My name is Kira Marshall-McKelvey, and I am a PhD student. I am originally from State College, Pennsylvania, and moved out to Fort Collins in 2016 to study Rhetoric and Composition. After teaching at Front Range Community College for a year, I returned to CSU to further study digital feminism (specifically feminist issues on YouTube and other new media). I was drawn to the Communication Studies department here due to the esteemed faculty, supportive environment, and interdisciplinary emphasis.
