As a graduate student of Communication at Colorado State University, my work has centered on dialogue and deliberation facilitation, processes design, analysis, and reporting. I am particularly interested in online engagement, understanding across differences, empathy, and facilitation methodology. I am a facilitator, researcher, and teaching assistant with the Center for Public Deliberation here at CSU. I've also worked as an online facilitator on strategic planning and consensus workshops using ToP methods adapted to digital platforms. I found my passion for group work during my time obtaining my undergraduate degree in Organizational Communication from CalPolyPomona and my leadership experiences through earning the BroncoLEAD certification and co-founding the Feminist Club. My passion for facilitation coincides with my enthusiasm for teaching. I utilize affective pedagogy and values-based framing to develop a class culture of growth and open communication.
