Jessie Stewart is the Academic Support Coordinators for the Interdisciplinary Liberal Arts major. Jessie has been working with students in higher education since 2003 and thoroughly enjoys discussing with them their goals, diverse interests, and range of opportunities that develop during their college career. She earned her masters degree in the Communication Studies Department here at Colorado State in 2005 and then moved to Southern Illinois University Carbondale for her doctoral work in Rhetoric. She was fortunate to return to the beauty of the foothills, Fort Collins, and the CSU campus in 2010 to teach Public Speaking, Public Argumentation, and Visual Rhetoric as a Special Assistant Instructor and completed her dissertation the following year. She joined the College of Liberal Arts Academic Support Coordinator team in 2013. Outside the office, Jessie enjoys hiking, cooking, and crafting.
