Biography

Cooper Adams is a theatrical lighting technician for the School for Music, Theatre, and Dance. Cooper is an alum of Colorado State University with a B.A. in Design and Technology, having also studied Business Administration. He specializes in sound, lighting, and projection design, working on everything from immersive audio, to animation.
Cooper teaches masterclasses in projections design at CSU as well as at local middle and high schools. Cooper designs locally on everything from theatrical productions to fashion shows, as well as working out of state on conferences such as Live Design International.
During the summer, Cooper works with the Santa Fe Opera in the Audio Visual department; starting as an apprentice in 2016, he became the ELS (Electronic Libreto System) Technician/AV Supervisor in 2019.
Selected credits: A Man of No Importance, The Knights of Illumination Awards Show 2019, The Magic Flute, Love and Information, Boy, The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui, The Hobbit, Blue Kitchen, The Blue Flower, and The Annual CSU Fashion show 2016-2019.
Cooper is happy to be working for CSU, where he is continually learning and teaches students how to become better designers.
