I am a current graduate student at Colorado State University working towards a Ph.D. in Public Communication and Technology. My interests are in new media and technology and how we can utilize media in the classroom, specifically k-12 education. I am also interested in how we can use technology in a healthcare environment to promote health, prolong life, and optimize healthcare.

I received my Bachelors degree from Western Michigan University in Interpersonal Communication and continued at WMU for my M.A. in Communication. I have taught courses focused on community engagement, speech, interpersonal communication and technical writing. I also have experience working in product development and recruiting.I am passionate about education, health, running, and reading. I strive to create opportunities for everyone around me and to grow and learn on a daily basis.
