Blair Greenwood graduated from Colorado State University with a bachelor's degree in Journalism and Technical Communication in December 2011. She is pursuing a master's degree in the Public Communication and Technology program at Colorado State University. Her research interests include new communication technologies. In particular, she's interested in learning about how journalists can leverage search engine optimization (SEO) and social media techniques without compromising journalistic quality. She works as an assistant editor at Penton Media in Fort Collins, Colo., where she writes technical articles that are targeted toward IT and developer professionals for the company's publications, Windows IT Pro, SQL Server Pro, and Dev Pro. In addition, she implements social media and search engine optimization (SEO) strategies for the company's publications.
