Anabela Vanesa Valerioti is an international student from Morón, a city in the west area of Buenos Aires, Argentina. She has earned her BA in English and Education from University of Morón. She also earned an associate’s degree in Argentine Tango. After teaching English and Spanish for several years in various institutes, universities and companies, Anabela first travelled to the US with a scholarship through the International Institute of Education-Fulbright Program to Ripon, WI. There, she was a Foreign Language Teaching Assistant (FLTA) teaching Spanish while being a cultural ambassador for her country. Anabela comes from a working class background and is the first in her family to graduate from a university. She is currently in her third and last year of a Joint MA program in TEFL/TESL (English Department) & Spanish (Languages, Literatures & Cultures Department). She has taught Spanish at CSU as a GTA and now is teaching English as a second language at INTO CSU.
